Companies which are based in the Netherlands are required to be shown in the commercial register in the Netherlands, the so called ‘Kamer van Koophandel’. Without this registration, it’s not allowed to do business with this company. Not only Dutch companies are registered in the Netherlands trade register, also branches from foreign companies based in the Netherlands are required to be shown in the trade register.
